'Ted Lasso' star Jason Sudeikis once again took the top honour for Actor in a Comedy Series. He took his first Emmy home last year for his 'Ted Lasso' role. Earlier this year, he grabbed the Golden Globe Award for 'Best Television Actor - Musical/Comedy Series' for the same show.

Etching Her Name  In History

'Abbott Elementary' star Sheryl Lee Ralph made history as she became the second Black winner to win the Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Award for her performance in the series. The first Black winner was Jackee Harry for '227' in 1987.

The victory started coming in early for 'Ted Lasso' when Brett Goldstein the Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series Award for his performance in the show. He won for the second year in a row, the award's first back-to-back winner since Jeremy Piven for 'Entourage' in 2007.

Making History

Korean star Lee Jung-jae became the first Asian actor ever to receive an Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama category for his performance in 'Squid Game'. He is the first to win the drama award for a non-English speaking role and the fourth Asian ever to win an acting Emmy.
