Lady Gaga forced to stop show in Miami amid lightning

Lady Gaga was forced to halt the final show of her Chromatica Ball tour in Florida after a freak storm hit.

The Chromatica Ball tour kicked off in July in Düsseldorf, Germany, before touring Sweden, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Japan and North America.

The star singer was nearing the end of her show when lightning began to ring around Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.

"We've only got to stop the show for a minute," She told the 65,000 fans at the show, advising them to "really quietly go inside".

He hoped to start the show once the storm passed, but the concert was eventually cancelled.

Before the show was cancelled, fans gathered under the sheltered section of the venue and sang Gaga's hit Rain on Me.

Fans who attended the show at Hard Rock Stadium, said Gaga was "obviously upset" by the cancellation.

The star later posted a heartbreaking apology to fans on her Instagram account as she was forced to cut short the final show of her world tour in Miami.
