Matthew Perry reflected on once going on a date with Cameron Diaz, alleging in his new memoir, “Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing,” that the actress hit him in the face.

Perry, 53, writes in his book that he remembers Diaz, 50, getting “immediately stoned” during their group dinner party and “wasn’t interested in [him] at all.”

Not only did the “Odd Couple” alum allege that he kissed Valerie Bertinelli in 1990 while her husband, Eddie Van Halen, was sleeping nearby, but he explained why he split from Julia Roberts in the ’90s.

“Dating Julia Roberts had been too much for me. I had been constantly certain that she was going to break up with me,” Perry wrote in an excerpt published by the Times UK on Sunday.

“Why would she not? I was not enough; I could never be enough; I was broken, bent, unlovable,” he continued. “So instead of facing the inevitable agony of losing her, I broke up with the beautiful and brilliant Julia Roberts.”
